Kinder Haus opens at 7am and closes promptly at 5:30pm.

We enroll on a full-time basis only.  Drop-in care is not available.

Yes, we accept subsidy from WV DHHR and Child Care Aware of American.  See Tuition Assistance under the Parent Resource tab.

All children are required to have a complete up-to-date immunization record on file at Kinder Haus Child Care Center, Inc. that meets the American Academy of Pediatrics immunization schedule prior to the first day of attendance. 

A two (2) week written notice is requested to withdraw your child from Kinder Haus.

Any dietary restriction must be documented by a medical professional using the CACFP Special Dietary needs form. This form is available under the Parent Resources tab.

Enrollment is based on a rolling schedule.  There is no specific end date unless otherwise noted by either party.  Registration into a separate program may be required (i.e. school-aged summer camp; WV Universal Pre-K).

Your child does not have to be potty trained to enroll in Kinder Haus.

We serve children from 6 weeks through 11 years, allowing families to remain with one trusted provider as their child grows. This continuity helps children feel secure and allows educators to truly understand each child’s developmental journey.

Our programs emphasize early education during critical developmental years, helping children build social, emotional, and academic foundations that support long-term success in school and beyond.

Our WV Universal Pre-K program follows state guidelines while being thoughtfully integrated into the nurturing, small-group environment Kinder Haus is known for. Children benefit from structured learning balanced with play-based exploration.

Unlike larger programs, our Pre-K classrooms emphasize individualized attention, strong teacher-child relationships, and developmentally appropriate learning—helping children feel confident and prepared for kindergarten.

WV Universal Pre-K complements our early education focus by strengthening literacy, math readiness, social skills, and independence—while maintaining the warmth and emotional support families expect from Kinder Haus.

We encourage families to schedule a tour or conversation with our leadership team. We’re happy to walk parents through our curriculum goals, daily routines, and how Pre-K supports each child’s readiness for the next stage.
